The trick in a nutshell
Place a sweet (or any other small object that will fit) into the secret box and make it disappear.
The mechanism of the trick
The box consists of two compartments, and at the bottom there is a mechanism that controls the opening and closing of the second compartment.
How to perform
- Open the box and place any small object, such as a sweet, inside (in the upper compartment). Close the box.
- Hold the box in your left hand and grasp the handle with your right hand. Using the index finger of your left hand, push the mechanism as shown in the video.
- Open the box with your right hand and show that it is empty (only the lower compartment is visible).
- Moving the mechanism
- Close the box and use the index finger of your left hand to move the mechanism. Say to the audience: “And now it’s time for a trick!
- Open the magic box with your right hand to show that the object has miraculously returned inside.
