Preparing the trick
Before performing the trick, prepare 4 balls and 3 cups. Place one ball into a cup. Arrange the rest of the cups so that the ball is in the middle cup. Place the remaining 3 balls in a row on the table.
Performing the trick
Now arrange the cups in a row on the table – behind the balls. Position them so that the middle cup is behind the middle ball. Make sure the spectator doesn’t notice the hidden ball. Take the ball on the right, lift the middle cup at the back slightly and place the ball inside. Say: “One”. Take the second ball from the table and repeat the same action, saying: “Two”. Place the cups on the right and left over the middle cup. Put the third ball in your pocket. Make a magical gesture over the cups. Lift all the cups together and show the spectator how the third ball, hidden in your pocket, has ended up under the cups.
