Preparing the trick
The Magician’s Ball is a basic trick that will be used in other tricks. Learn it to perfection so that the subsequent tricks do not cause you any difficulty. You will need one ball to perform this trick.
Performance
Hold the ball gently in your right hand, between your thumb and index finger. Then make a gesture as if you were moving the ball from your right to your left hand, whilst closing your left hand in such a way as to deftly take the ball with the fingers of your right hand. Subtly move your right hand (which is concealing the ball) away from your left, pointing your finger at your closed left hand to emphasise the effect. Finally, slowly open your left hand and show the audience its empty interior – the ball has magically disappeared.
