Preparing the trick
To perform the trick, you will need the deck of cards included in the set. Before you begin the performance, it is worth familiarising yourself thoroughly with the mechanism of the card tricks (‘Trapeze’), described in the enclosed printed instructions. Before each trick, ensure that all the cards in the deck are facing the same way. Then remove the two jokers from the deck. Count every thirteenth card in the deck and turn each of them 180 degrees.
Performance
- Holding the prepared deck, tap it on the table, then, grasping a card with the edges sticking out, remove all the cards in front of it. Place them on the table. Repeat this three times until there are four separate piles of cards on the table.
- In front of the audience, count the cards in the piles — each should contain exactly 13 cards.
