Preparing the trick
Before performing the trick, prepare 4 balls and 3 cups. Place one ball into a cup. Arrange the rest of the cups so that the ball is in the bottom cup.
Performing the trick
Arrange the three balls in a row in front of you. Ask the spectator to hold out their hand flat. Place two balls from the table onto the spectator’s hand. Then cover the balls on the spectator’s hand with the cups — one by one, starting with the bottom cup (which contains the extra ball). Do this so that the spectator does not notice the hidden ball. Arrange all the cups on the spectator’s hand, as shown in the video. Make a magical gesture over their hand and slip the last ball from the table into your pocket. Now lift the cups from the spectator’s hand. The hidden ball has magically appeared in the spectator’s hand!
