Preparing the trick
To perform the trick, you will need the deck of cards included in the set. Before you begin the performance, it is worth familiarising yourself thoroughly with the mechanism of the card tricks (‘Trapeze’), described in the enclosed printed instructions. Before each trick, ensure that all the cards in the deck are facing the same way. Before you begin the magic show, remove all the clubs from the deck and place them in front of you. Now turn the removed cards 180 degrees so that the print on the back faces the opposite direction to the remaining cards. Shuffle the deck.
Performance
Show the spectator the shuffled cards. Whilst performing the trick, for added effect, you can say that the Trefl company taught you how to find the clubs. Take the deck in both hands and pull out all the cards with protruding edges (in the club suit), placing them on the table. For added effect, you can show that there are no more cards of that suit left in the deck. You have just managed to pull out cards of only one suit from the entire deck!
