Preparing the trick
To perform this trick, you will need the string included in the set. First, tie a magic knot, as shown in the video. Then tighten the ‘knot’ by pulling both ends of the string whilst supporting it from the middle to prevent it from coming undone prematurely. Remember to do this carefully so that the knot retains its shape and ‘magical’ effect right up until the performance.
Performance procedure
Hold the string in your hand so that the knot is inside your clenched fist and the two ends of the string hang freely on either side of your hand. Then, with a confident, dynamic but not too forceful movement, pull one end of the string. You will see how the ‘knot’ magically unties itself, leaving the audience amazed and surprised.
