The trick in a nutshell
With magic cards, you can enchant your audience with extraordinary tricks! Imagine being able to pull a card they’ve chosen straight from the middle of the deck, detect a subtle difference in the weight of the ink on the paper, or match cards flawlessly without looking at their colour. This unique performance is sure to delight every member of the audience.
Preparing the trick
Before each trick, make sure that all the cards in the deck are facing the same way.
Performance
- Find the cards from Ace to Five in the suits of hearts and clubs (10 cards in total). Divide them into two sets of five cards and hand one of them to a spectator. Ask the spectator to shuffle their set. Do the same with your own set.
- Ask the spectator to choose any card from their pile and place it face down on the table.
- You also choose a card – but first, look at the code on the back of the spectator’s card and pick the one with the same number. Place it on top of the card chosen by the spectator. Repeat this with all the cards.
- Finally, turn over all the pairs of cards and show the spectator that each card has been perfectly matched. The superpower works!
