Preparing the trick
To perform the trick, you will need the deck of cards included in the set. Before starting the performance, it is worth familiarising yourself thoroughly with the mechanism of the card tricks (‘Trapeze’), described in the enclosed printed instructions. Before each trick, ensure that all the cards in the deck are facing the same way. Next, locate the cards in the diamond suit (red heart): the ten, jack, queen, king and ace. Remove each of these cards, turn them 180 degrees and put them back into the deck.
Performance
Shuffle the cards in full view of the spectator. Then tap the deck lightly on the table, and with a swift movement, using the protruding edges, remove the rotated cards. This will allow the spectator to see that you have magically pulled five cards of the same suit from the shuffled deck.
