Trefl Group

The Trefl Group consists of production and commercial enterprises, two sports companies and two media companies. We are one of the largest puzzle manufacturers in Europe and a leading board game producer in Poland. The main area of our activity is the production and distribution of jigsaw puzzles, board games, game cards and educational science sets. Since 2008 we have been distributing SIKU car models and we are the exclusive distributor of VTech electronic educational toys in Poland. We have distribution companies in Germany and the Czech Republic.

Kazimierz Wierzbicki

Founder and Owner of the Trefl Group includes companies producing and distributing puzzles, board games, toys, and books, two sports companies, an animated film studio, and an educational publishing house. Sports enthusiast and philanthropist. Winner and finalist of many prestigious awards, including EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 or Galion Gdyński in the Patron of Culture category. In 2024, he was included on the Forbes list of the 50 Most Influential People in Polish Sport. He graduated from the Academy of Physical Education and Sports and trained youth women's basketball teams for many years. In 1985, he decided to establish the first puzzle factory in Poland, known from the beginning as Trefl, which today is one of the leading puzzle manufacturers in the world. In 1995, he founded a men's basketball team called Trefl Sopot. Ten years later, he established the men's volleyball team, Trefl Gdańsk. Both teams have played in the top league for years and won many medals and cups. Over twenty years ago, he established the Trefl Foundation to spread sports and cultural education. In 2010, he founded the Trefl Pomorze Association, which acts for the local community.
