Remember, the real magic lies in the details!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Preparing the trick<\/h2>\n<p>Before starting the performance, remove the four jacks from the deck and arrange them neatly in a pile on the table. Discreetly place one of the jacks on top of the deck \u2014 so that the spectator doesn\u2019t notice.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>The performance<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Show the spectator the three jacks lying on the table. Then place one of them on top of the deck (where the previously hidden jack is already waiting \u2014 there are now two there). Put the second one at the bottom of the deck, and place the third one anywhere in the middle of the deck.<\/li>\n<li>Place the deck on the table and divide it into two piles.
